Dr. John Sobanjo | The Institute for Successful Longevity

Dr. John Sobanjo is Professor of Civil & Environmental Engineering, Director of the Center for Accessibility and Safety for an Aging Population and a Faculty Affiliate of the Institute for Successful Longevity.

Dr. Sobanjo has a diverse background in civil engineering, with specific interests in the areas of transportation infrastructure systems, safety, resilience, sustainability, and applications of advanced technologies. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and a licensed professional engineer in the states of California and Florida. He earned his Ph.D. in civil engineering from Texas A&M University.
