Dr. Mia Newlin-Bradner

Mia Newlin-Bradner-400x400Dr. Mia Newlin-Bradner, Ph.D., R.N., M.S.N., is Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing. Dr. Newlin-Bradner’s initial educational pursuits were in the field of exercise physiology, in which she received a B.S. from Florida State University, an M.S. from the University of Georgia and a Ph.D. from Florida State University.  She then expanded her education to the field of nursing and obtained her B.S.N. from FSU followed by an M.S.N. in Nursing Education, also from FSU.  Dr. New

Dr. Mia Newlin-Bradner, Ph.D., R.N., M.S.N., is Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing. Dr. Newlin-Bradner’s research interests are focused on the role of physical activity in the prevention and management of chronic disease, with a specific emphasis on women with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction.
