Judy Delp speaks on 'The Impact of Muscle Stretch Training on Mobility in Older Adults'

Judy Delp, Ph.D., professor of Biomedical Sciences in Florida State University’s College of Medicine, spoke Feb. 22, 2021, on “The Impact of Muscle Stretch Training on Mobility in Older Adults.”

Her talk was part of the Institute for Successful Longevity Brown Bag Series.

Dr. Delp’s research focuses on cardiovascular adaptations to aging and exercise training. Her work looks at adaptations of the microcirculation in the heart and skeletal muscle that occur with aging and how exercise training can reverse the microvascular dysfunction that occurs with advancing age.
