ISL Director to participate in WHO-UNICEF global consultation on assistive technology

Neil Charness, Ph.D., Director of the Institute for Successful Longevity, will take part in the Second Global Consultation for the WHO-UNICEF Global Report on Assistive Technology.
The WHO-UNICEF Report on Assistive Technology will:
- Highlight the status of access to assistive technology.
- Draw attention to the need for and benefit of assistive technology, including the return on investment.
- Recommend actions that will improve access to assistive technology, especially in resource limited settings.
- Support implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
- Help ensure Universal Health Coverage is inclusive.
